Halim was raised by an artist, and often witnessed his mother weaving rugs and creating ceramic artwork. In 1993 Halim decided to dedicate his life to art. He is a self-taught artist, who creates mainly with the use of oil paint, pastels, aquarelles, and charcoal. Halim strives to achieve simplicity and harmony in his work. He draws inspiration from the world which surrounds him.
